Trip Overview:

• Trunyan Villages where the Locals live peacefully with their own customs and prehistoric tradition. This village  is one of the traditional village in Bali called ‘Bali Aga’ or ‘Old Bali’ who live in a tradition and daily life that are vastly different from other Balinese. The Trunyanes do not cremate their dead. After a cleansing ritual, the dead body is placed in a bamboo cage (locally known as ancak saji) under the Taru Menyan tree. Taru Menyan means ‘nice smelling tree’. This tree emanates a typical scent which neutralizes the smell of rotting bodies. It is also this tree from which the name Trunyan is derived. Furthermore, typical for the funeral rites of Trunyan is that only the bodies of married people are allowed to be placed in bamboo cages.
• Natural Hot Spring we will enjoy soaking in the pool with water (38 – 40⁰ centigrade), which may relax mind and relieve your stress. In the pool, there are some the statues with shower. You can stand under the shower to feel more relaxing sensation. Meanwhile, you can also see beauty of the mount and lake view which will impress your eyes from the pool area.

• Ulundanu Batur Temple is located in the village of Kintamani and is one of the Kahyangan Jagat Temples, this Batur temple is one of the important temples on the island of Bali whose job is to maintain harmony and stability throughout the island of Bali. Where this Batur temple was built and represents the North direction where to worship Lord Vishnu and the Local Goddess, Dewi Danu, the Goddess of Lake Batur which is the largest lake in Bali which is located under Mount Batur. The location of the Batur Temple was originally near Mount Batur and when Mount Batur erupted and hit the Batur Temple and was destroyed, therefore the temple complex was built and moved in 1926, while the location is now located in Kintamani in a tourist attraction to see the view of Mount Batur. which is very enchanting with the natural beauty of the volcano and lake Batur which is so pleasing to the eye for anyone who sees it.
